For 23 years, the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse Stage served Summerfest music lovers. As we look ahead to 2021 after the first cancelled Summerfest event ever, the Harley Stage will carry a new name: the Generac Power Stage.
Generac, based in Waukesha, started in 1959 and they employ over 4,000 in Wisconsin.
The stage was famously the Pabst Showcase Stage prior to 1997. The announced partnership includes upgrades including four video screens, improved ADA seating, upgraded hospitality and security areas, additional stage rigging and a new lighting system. The upgrades are set to debut at Summerfest next year. Generac will also sponsor the festival’s annual Military Appreciation Day.
Summerfest is switching from its traditional 11 days in a row (almost, skipping the Monday during that time period) and instead run for three consecutive three-day weekends in 2021. The dates are scheduled for Thursdays through Sundays June 24-26, July 1-3 and July 8-10. And we’re ready for it!
